Yes. Our genuine 4x4s (such as the Suzuki Jimny and Toyota Fortuner) are the right choice for the tracks to the White Dune or Imlili, where 2WD cars (Dacia Logan, Sandero, Duster 2WD) are not allowed. Off-road driving outside marked tracks is not permitted and is never covered by insurance. Our team can advise you on routes and preparation before your excursion.

Both are available. Simply specify your preference when booking. Automatic vehicles are particularly popular among international guests and for 4x4 models. Availability varies by season — early booking is advisable if you have a firm preference, particularly during winter high season.

Share your itinerary when booking so we can help you choose a suitable vehicle. Distinguish paved roads from tracks: a two-wheel-drive SUV is different from a genuine 4x4. Our team confirms the conditions that apply to your plans before departure.

Vehicle reliability is non-negotiable for us. Every car in our fleet undergoes a full mechanical inspection — brakes, tyres, fluids, lighting, engine systems — before each rental. We maintain service records for all vehicles and take a preventive approach to maintenance. You'll never receive a car that isn't road-ready.

You will need: (1) a valid driving licence held for at least one year, (2) a valid passport or national ID card, and (3) a credit card in the main driver's name for the standard security deposit (unless special conditions are confirmed in your quote). For licences issued in non-Latin scripts (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.), an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by your home country is required alongside the original licence.

Yes. Morocco welcomes international renters. Visitors from the EU, UK, USA, Canada, and most other countries can drive legally on their home licence for the duration of a tourist stay. If your licence uses a non-Latin alphabet, obtain an IDP before travelling. We regularly serve international clients and will guide you through any documentation questions.

The standard minimum age is 23 years old, with at least one year of driving experience. Drivers aged 21 to 23 may be accepted on request, with a young driver supplement. Contact us before booking to confirm eligibility for your vehicle category.

Yes. CMB Cars (SARL AU) is a fully licensed and legally registered car rental agency under Moroccan law. Every vehicle in our fleet is registered and insured in compliance with all applicable regulations. Renting from us means renting from a legitimate, accountable entity — you receive a proper rental contract, insurance documentation, and full legal standing throughout your rental period.

We accept cash (Moroccan Dirham), Visa and Mastercard, and bank transfer for advance bookings. Please confirm your preferred payment method at the time of booking. We make the process simple and adapt to your situation.

Yes. A refundable security deposit is collected at the start of your rental. The amount depends on the vehicle category. The deposit is held as a guarantee against damage, fuel shortfalls, or other applicable charges. It is fully refunded upon vehicle return in its original condition — typically via card release or cash refund within 24–48 hours.

Fuel is not included in the rental price. The rule is simple: return the car with the same fuel level as at pick-up. If the level is lower, the missing fuel is charged. We recommend refuelling at a nearby station before returning the vehicle.

Your quote and rental agreement specify the mileage conditions. Tell us your planned journeys when booking so we can confirm the terms for your stay.

Yes. All CMB Cars vehicles carry mandatory third-party liability insurance as required under Moroccan law. This covers third-party damages in the event of an accident. Additional coverage options are available and discussed at booking. We strongly encourage all renters to review the insurance documentation included with their rental agreement.

Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or phone. If the breakdown results from a mechanical fault rather than driver action, we will arrange roadside assistance and a replacement vehicle as quickly as possible — at no charge to you. Our response is fast, and we do not leave our customers stranded.
