Vehicle reliability is non-negotiable for us. Every car in our fleet undergoes a full mechanical inspection — brakes, tyres, fluids, lighting, engine systems — before each rental. We maintain service records for all vehicles and take a preventive approach to maintenance. You'll never receive a car that isn't road-ready.

You will need: (1) a valid driving licence held for at least one year, (2) a valid passport or national ID card, and (3) a credit or debit card for the security deposit. For licences issued in non-Latin scripts (Arabic, Chinese, Cyrillic, etc.), an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by your home country is required alongside the original licence.

Yes. CMB Cars (SARL AU) is a fully licensed and legally registered car rental agency under Moroccan law. Every vehicle in our fleet is registered and insured in compliance with all applicable regulations. Renting from us means renting from a legitimate, accountable entity — you receive a proper rental contract, insurance documentation, and full legal standing throughout your rental period.

We accept cash (Moroccan Dirham), Visa and Mastercard, and bank transfer for advance bookings. Please confirm your preferred payment method at the time of booking. We make the process simple and adapt to your situation.

Yes. A refundable security deposit is collected at the start of your rental. The amount depends on the vehicle category. The deposit is held as a guarantee against damage, fuel shortfalls, or other applicable charges. It is fully refunded upon vehicle return in its original condition — typically via card release or cash refund within 24–48 hours.

Fuel is not included in the base rate. Vehicles are delivered with a full tank and must be returned full. If returned below the original fuel level, the cost of refuelling will be deducted from the deposit at market rate. We recommend refuelling at any nearby station before returning the vehicle.

Standard rentals include a generous daily mileage allowance. For long-distance or cross-country travel, unlimited mileage packages are available on request. If you plan to cover substantial distances — such as driving from Dakhla to Agadir or beyond — discuss this at booking so we can offer the most cost-effective package for your route.

Yes. All CMB Cars vehicles carry mandatory third-party liability insurance as required under Moroccan law. This covers third-party damages in the event of an accident. Additional coverage options are available and discussed at booking. We strongly encourage all renters to review the insurance documentation included with their rental agreement.
